Taking some advice from Roger Eagle (Eric's Club
entrepreneur), The Id decided to record some demos. The band clubbed together
the necessary £25 and in early 1978 they booked a session at Liverpool's Open
Eye Gallery.
The band fragmented shortly after these demos were recorded which meant the
tracks were shelved for nearly 24 years. The exception was Julia's Song which
featured on the 1979 compilation album Street To Street. |

The Id at this point featured Paul Humphreys, Andy McCluskey, Gary Hodgson, Steve Hollas and Mal Holmes. The original line-up also featured Neil Shenton, Julia Kneale and John Floyd. |
