Apollo XI had originally appeared on the 1991 album Sugar Tax.
 

Apollo 440's Howard Gray had worked previously with OMD, notably on the Sugar Tax album.

This was also not the first time that Apollo 440 had remixed Apollo XI. A scarce 12" white label remix was issued to clubs back in 1991 featuring a very different (and in many opinions, better) version of the track.
