Both Talking Loud & Clear  and Julia's song are longer versions than on the 7" release.

Talking Loud & Clear was the first track written on the Fairlight and was originally written as a test piece.

Julia's Song was recorded in Belgium with added brass by the Weir Brothers. The song is a reworked version of the track that originally appears on the debut album Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
