The version of Tesla Girls on this release is a longer version than
the 7" release.
Tesla Girls had been inspired by Nikola Tesla
- a Yugolsavian-born scientist responsible for the Alternating Current.
The title Tesla Girls was suggested by Martha Ladly (from the
band Martha & The Muffins).Garden City raised some debate in
the band about whether or not they should keep the "F"
word in the lyrics.
