This was DinDisc's third attempt to score a hit with Electricity which once again failed to make a commercial impact.

Both versions of the songs featured on this release are identical to the ones on the debut album.

It's long been regarded that the version of Electricty featured here (and on OMD's debut album) was recorded in The Gramophone Suite in Liverpool. In fact, it was a remixed version of the track recorded at Cargo Studios (originally produced by Martin Hannett). The same track was reworked for 1988's The Best Of OMD and 1998's The OMD Singles album.

The run-out grooves on side one read "Will Radio 1 like it!' while side two reads "P.T.O.".
