We Love You had originally been written for the film soundtrack to Playing For Keeps (1986)although the single version was radically rewritten and rearranged.

If You Leave had originally been released as a single in 1986.

88 Seconds In Greensboro originally featured on the 1986 album Crush.

This double pack was issued in a gatefold sleeve which featured a colour shot of the band on the gatefold.

The directors of Playing For Keeps, Harvey and Bob Weinstein,  wanted the lyrics of the song to fit the film. "There was one line that originally ran 'Gotta get a message to the girls we love/Blowing kisses over oceans', but since the film was about 3 guys it made no sense at all! So I had to modify it and 'Gotta get a message to the girls we love' became 'Gotta get a message to the stars above'. Absolute meaningless drivel, basically!" Andy McCluskey
