These recordings were culled from a live performance
by China Crisis at the Neptune Theatre in Liverpool and also features
on their live album Acoustically Yours.
The original version of Black Man Ray was released in 1985 and reached No.
14 in the UK charts.
Here Come A Raincloud is sung by Peter Coyle. The original version features
on the 1983 album Working With Fire And Steel.
The songs were mixed by Paul Humphreys at a North Wales studio and Paul also
co-edited the tracks at a studio in California.
Peter Coyle, who guests on some of the tracks,
is probably better known as part of The Lotus Eaters - another Liverpool band
who are probably best known for their 1983 single The First Picture Of You.
This release was originally to have also featured Hard To Be Around, featuring
guest singer Jenny John (Sense Of Sound).
Although Here Come A Raincloud featured in the Neptune Theatre live performance,
it doesn't appear on the Acoustically Yours album.
