OMITD re-issue DIE-CUT CD by Microwerks

Postby Alex Macheras » Mon Aug 30, 2010 5:17 pm

Rarely our eyes can see something as beautiful as this! It is a miniature masterpiece! Impossible to not want to have it! My congratulations to the US label that finally packaged OMD's debut the way VIRGIN recs should have done!

BIG thank you to Robert for sending us the CD to Greece.
And finally the mystery of that re-issue is solved.

Just take a look:

I wonder why they would drop those 2 tracks...
Who are you and how did you get in here?

I just picked this up at HMV here in TO. I didn't know it was new or big deal. Glad I lucked into it before it was too late.

Could be a licensing issue.

Fleetwood, was that the Yonge and Dundas HMV?

This is gonna sound crazy but I don't remember. For one. I've bought a bunch of cd's lately and for another, I 'm asking every record store clerk I can about the Canadian / NA'n release of the album just to stick it on their heads. I've been in a bunch of HMV's I've never been in before. That one across from city tv is gorgeous inside.

I'm not seeing this version, at least not on the US or UK Amazon sites. Can you provide a link?

See if this link works. If not you need to search for Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark or better still B003JA5MFG

http://www.amazon.com/Orchestral-Manoeu ... 726&sr=1-4

This matter has been raised here before by the look of it....

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6532&start=15

and from the original thread it can be seen to be also available from ccmusic.com
