Great to hear!
The alter version of White trash was great in its uptempo-reggae-style, and a forgotten song with Paul on vocals is worth waiting for.
Long time ago i heard that Tesla girls was a much longer track in its early versions. Hope to hear that too!

The original demo is very loose without the full lyrics, although the "No No No" is already in place as well as Maureen Humphreys also saying "X Y Z".

There's also a lost Paul Humphreys' song titled 'All Or Nothing' and features a rhythm track created from tuned bottles. Apparently the closest that OMD have ever got to a folk song!

The Junk Culture reissue is going to be quite special in terms of the bonus tracks included on the new release. I think OMD fans are going to be very happy :)

About a week ago, whilst speaking on BBC Radio 6, the guys said that the album got pushed back to 2015...

It's a shame that the album's been pushed back, but I think it's worth waiting for. Certainly the reaction from people attending the recent OMD Party who heard snippets of the new material was very positive.

Hopefully my sleeve notes will also make interesting reading for OMD fans as well. Spending a lot of time investigating the mysteries of Junk Culture earlier this year has been very rewarding, particularly as in many ways it was one of those grey areas of OMD history.

They kept the "X Y Z" to the Crush album on "Women III" then, and I think I hear a bell ringing on "Heaven is" that later showed up on the Special USA Dance Remix of "So in love".
... and the "RRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" on the "White Trash" demo seems like it can be heard in the intro of "Apollo".

There is a lot of good stuff coming up I think, as Junk Culture was my first OMD album and I still measure a lot of music to that OMD era.

I just really hope that the 7" Picture Disc version of "Never Turn Away is included on this as well as as many other remixes that have not yet seen the digital light of day as possible. I'd rather not waste limited space on b-sides that are already on my "Navigation" CD.
