The Stranglers supporting Simple Minds (28th November, SSE Hydro, Glasgow)

Medium names
Paper Aeroplanes (8th May, The Caves, Edinburgh)
Paper Aeroplanes (9th May, Glad Cafe, Glasgow)

I have purchased a few tickets:

1. Waterboys (who I sadly won't be able to see after all--but I did buy the ticket).
2. San Fermin (They have a song called "Jackrabbit" which is getting some love around my house these days)
3. Kitten
4. I'm going to Joshua Tree Music Festival which has a rather eclectic line up and a band called "The Last Internationale" is headlining.
5. Sheppard (getting the ticket tomorrow)
6. Tanlines (need to get the ticket)
7. Houndmouth
8. Capital Cities/ Big Data (at our local county fair)

That's not too bad for a gig list--although I can't quite keep up with Blackpapercrown (but who can??)
I dance about ships and airplanes.

I'm off to see Radiophonic Workshop in Dublin on the 20th. I'm far too excited at the prospect of hearing the 'Doctor Who' theme tune played 'live'.

Highly recommend seeing The Radiophonic Workshop if anyone gets the opportunity. A very 'British Kraftwerk' vibe to it, they came out to the lobby immediately after the show to meet fans and sign autographs, really lovely chaps.

Saw Nils Frahm last Monday at the Roundhouse in London. Really enjoyable show, although the Swede complained he did too much "noodling" and that the toilet brush was too much of a stunt. Eh, I liked his compositions on the fly and great venue.

Off to Arena Park in a few hours here in Berlin to catch a few artists before the mighty Underworld are up starting at 12.30 am. Christ im feling tired and entirely too old for this all now.

Another catch-up
The Mirror Trap (12th June in Glasgow)
Alicia Witt (13th June in London) well worth the trip down
Other Humans (19th June in Glasgow) a new electro-pop band from Glasgow. This will be their 3rd ever gig. I have been to all their gigs so far - um, all both of them
Rachel Sermanni (30th September in Glencarse)
Rachel Sermanni (2nd October in Edinburgh)
Rachel Sermanni (6th October in Glasgow)
Nell Brydon (4th November in Edinburgh)
The Proclaimers (19th December in Edinburgh)

once tickets go on sale (*drums fingers impatiently*)
The Icicle Works (18th October in Newcastle)

and I might go see
Marina And The Diamonds (Saturday 11th July at T In The Park) I would generally avoid this festival as the line-up is predominantly NME-type shite but a chance to see Marina is too good to miss. She is worth the day ticket on her own
T'Pau, Go West, Nik Kershaw (19th October in Edinburgh) The Go West part is putting me off ...
Fish (13th December in Glasgow) his final tour before he retires to Germany and writes books
Time flies but I am not yet old

10 September - Prom 74: Wireless Nights Prom with Jarvis Cocker at RAH
1 October - GusGus at Koko, London

Still want to get Fleetwood Mac tix for the end of June. Its like going to see Springsteen - I listened to them in the womb, so may as well see them live (all of them) at least once before someone dies.
