Here are two very interesting ones -
Cutting Crew (8th May, 100 Club in London) I have not seen a full band Cutting Crew gig for 9 years
The Professionals and Rick Kids (19th May, O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, London) good on you Midge for making this one off reformation pairing happen. Okay, both bands only ever managed one album each but it is a rare chance to see Midge Ure and Glen Matlock on stage together. It will also be nice to see Paul Cook again. My last time was when he drummed for Edwin Collins at Latitude in 2011

I'd write and tell you that I've burnt them all.

But you never send me your address and I've.

I've kept them anyway.

Now, you are not able to say this every day -
Jean Michel Jarre (14th October, SSE Hydro, Glasgow) I hate the venue but I have never seen Jimmy Jam Jar live. I actually secured a really good seat for under £33 which was totally unexpected.

Well, we saw Faust on Saturday evening and my wife loved them even more than Laurie Anderson; her favorite. It was spellbinding and delightful in equal measure. It had the feel of catching Roxy Music in 1972, only even better. I can't say enough good things about it, so I won't even get started! The longer the show went on the bigger our smiles, laughter and delight became.

Few more to tickle my gig buds
Orla Gartland (17/04/2016, Glasgow) she is supporting Bry but she is worth the ticket price on her own
Harriet (28/04/2016, London) I would travel to the ends of the earth to hear her sing
Hannah Trigwell (10/05/2016, Glasgow) I have never heard of her but I like some of her songs so I am happy to see her play live
The Proclaimers along with the truly wonderful Apache Darling and The Fratellis, GUN, Heaven 17 and Andy Bell (amongst others) (13/082016, Linlithgow Palace) a 2 day festival in the palace grounds
Ben Montague (02/12/2016, Newcastle) yes, that is 8 months away but seeing him in concert is a tradition for me

and a wee shock for me
Muse (18/04/2016, Glasgow) the ticket was ridiculously expensive but Nothing But Thieves are supporting who I saw recently and they really impressed me. As for Muse, they are not really my scene but Matt Bellamy is a musical genius

Whoopsie daisy! I quickly slotted in a Jonathan Richman show last Saturday the 2nd of April. Always a pleasure to see him! And yes, I bought my ticket 2 days in advance!

NBT were indeed superb. Saw them 4 times and for such a young looking band they certainly can rock. People are expecting big things of them.
