One for Simple Minds fans who have at least £99 to spare - The Vinyl Collection 1979-1984, all albums from that period re-issued in 180g vinyl and housed in a limited edition 7LP box.

Not only is it in white vinyl, but there will be 100 pressed up in clear vinyl and handed out at random to the pre-orders
'Rage in Eden' is the fourth of Vinyl180's series of Ultravox re-issues. Pressed on 180g vinyl and with initial copies on WHITE vinyl, with a bonus WHITE vinyl 7-inch.

Pre-order now and enter the ballot to have a chance for your copy to be one of 100 hand numbered LP's on CLEAR vinyl (Ballot closes 27/11/2015). This will be a completely random process when Vinyl180 pack all the pre orders. ALL copies of the 7-inch single will be on WHITE vinyl.

You can pre-order now for £15.98 inc VAT at: http://www.vinyl180.com/acatalog/Rage-In-Eden.html

The album comes in a heavyweight outer sleeve with inner bag. The 7-inch features the single edit of 'The Thin Wall (Work In Progress Mix)', and on the reverse 'Stranger Within (Work In Progress Mix)'.

If you don't yet have enough of John Foxx's re-issues of the same music over and over and over again
http://johnfoxx.tmstor.es/cart/product.php?id=27202
but it is a bargain price of only £17.99 for a liimited edition gatefold album with two tracks never released on vinyl before ...

Ultravox didn't get my money. However, John Foxx did. A Barnbrook cover in 2016 is the moral equivalent of a Peter Saville cover in 1981.

It seems that 2nd September 2016 is the day to open your UItravox vinyl buying wallet. Their first three albums are being reissued, each on different coloured vinyl
- red vinyl (Ultravox!)
- european grey; whatever the hell that is. At least it is not dead duck grey (Ha! Ha! Ha!)
- rather unimaginatively white vinyl (Systems Of Romance).
At £20 a pop, it is a lot of money to spend on something you will not play.

Go on REVO, you know you want to. They all have John Foxx on them

Naaah. I already have SO MANY COPIES of those albums; all purchased for less than one of those wallet busters! Really. There is NO WAY to justify the cost. Hell, I still don't have the white vinyl "Metamatic" issued two tears ago and I sort of want it to see what the gatefold cover art looks like.

Oh for goodness sake. How much more of his old output can John Foxx re-issue on clunky vinyl? And this lot is £100 a pop!! http://johnfoxx.tmstor.es/cart/product.php?id=29223

John Foxx is my favorite artist, and ideally, I would like a complete collection… but there's no way I'm falling for this! I have original CDs of V. I/III, the 5.1 DVD of V. I, and the complete three volume CD box with a 5.1 DVD of V. III. More than enough Cathedral Oceans for me. When a LP I don't technically need is <£20 it could get a nod. £100? No way.

Actually, put me down as a vinyl hater. I am incredulous that a terribly compromised, auto-destructive format from the last century has become a going concern again with people who don't know any better.

Gasp...! My wife bought me a "Cathedral Oceans" box for my birthday. She got #9/750 with the signed Foxx print...!! I'm speechless. Does this now make me a hypocrite?
