I have met Colin quite a few times and he is lovely person, a superbly talented singer/songwriter and a very devoted father. I wish him all the luck in the world that he makes a full recovery

It seems the prospects of his recovery are very poor
Colin Update (20/01/2016)
However scans have revealed that the injuries to his brain are worse than we feared and that he has only a slim chance of pulling through.
It is a great shame and I do hope his family are coping with this very tough struggle

Colin died on 26/01/2016

My heart goes out to his family. They should also be very proud of the legacy of great music that he has left behind. He was a wonderful musician and a wonderful person to meet. Thank you Black

How very very sad a great man with a great voice. He spoke to a lot of people through his music and great song writing. He will be missed.

This is a very sad news. I'm so sorry i've never seen him live, but i've talked with him about his "lost" album from 1984. He was a very very passionate musician and i really love his music, especially his works from 1984 till 1998.
RIP and be well wherever you are now.

If you wish to catch up on the vast catalogue that Colin created since Wonderful Life, check out his physical CD and merchandise shop by clicking here or if you prefer digital downloads, his official bandcamp page by clicking here.

A good starting point is the CV compilation album, available on both CD and download. That gives a lovely cross-section of his work up to 2007

What a sad loss for fans as well as his family. I was a big fan who kept up with his career. My favorite was "Are We Having Fun Yet?" which was his first indie album [but it sure didn't sound it]. I thought it was so great that I wrote him a gushing fan letter, so as to further encourage him and was surprised when he wrote me back. I think that was the only time I ever wrote an artist [other than the John Foxx Information Service] in the pre web era.
