Very sad to hear of the passing of Terry Wogan, a true gent, without all the pretenious clap trap, and a really lovely person.
He will be sadly missed.

Sir Terry's death just adds to the list of actors, directors and TV/Radio personalities who have died this month, including Alan Rickman, Wes Craven, Ed "Stewpot" Stewart (another Radio 2 DJ), Saeed Jeffrey and Brian Sewell

I also cannot believe the list of musicians that we have lost in the month of January alone
PF Sloan
Andy White (Beatles session drummer 'From Me To You')
Phil Taylor (Motorhead)
Lemmy (Motorhead)
Natalie Cole
John Bradbury (The Specials)
Glen Frey (The Eagles)
David Bowie
Paul Kanter (Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship)
Dale Griffen (drummer with Mott The Hoople and, lattery, a BBC session tracks producer)
and Colin Vearncombe (Black)

Not good. Not good at all
Time flies but I am not yet old

Sad news, gave a lot, & such a lovely cynical sense of humour best displayed over the years when covering the Eurovision song contest. RIP :-(
