BPC - OMG!!! I will also be at the Roundhouse on March 20th for the Human Seventeen extravaganza! I am finally making it to the UK for a show. We should meet as the final users of the OMD web forum. The last ones standing.

The Dickies (27 July at Bannerman's, Edinburgh)

I finally saw The Dickies after 39 years of fandom in 2018. They are fantastic! Leonard and Stan are the anchors and as ~60 year old punk rockers, peerless! We were very impressed with drummer Adam Gomez! He played in a crisp white dress shirt with braces and a dickie bow, making the super fast tempos look easy without breaking a sweat. Every inch the stone cold drummer any band would want. You will have fun!

I am way ahead of you there. I first saw them in 2012, then in 2014, then in 2016 when Leonard was ill so they had guest vocalists, including Eugene from The Rezillos (well, it was a gig in Edinburgh, after all) then 2017. So, this year will be the 5th time I have seen them. And, yes, I agree with your assessment of them live.

Also, sometime in March this year, I should be attending my 2,000th gig ever.

Eugene singing lead for The Dickies?! How perfect! The Rezillos were another band I thought I'd never see but did far in advance of The Dickies on their first real US tour in 2002.
