I was on MSN, minding my own business, then someone comes on and starts calling me names and that my family were too stupid to work. Then he said I don't have any friends, and said the friends that I have were all met online and he said that all my friends were...Well, I don't know if I wanna say what he said, but it wasn't nice.

I starting to lose my temper. I'm gonna block him. He does go to my school, but I don't see him much, and I never speak to him. God, I so hate him :x.

Idiots get a rise when they get a reaction from people. Best ignore him and leave him to his lonely masterbation.

Stephanie We have spoken about this before, you need to speak to an adult or teacher about it, before it gets worse. Problem with kids is they think they are invisible online, and especially on MSN they are not!

Main thing is, DON'T hit back! Makes you feel nbetter I know, but it really does make the situation worse, so do it as you have so far, and either ignore or block. Its what they are there for.

There is a tab within MSN Messenger to report Bullying, Microsoft, the DoE & The police Take it very seriously, as do we in my role of work. It doesn't have to go unpunished, or even go on at all, if you make sure someone is aware of it.
Evidence can be gained from the Logs if it is done within School (doubtful if your School uses RM Computers) without his permission (under the Duty of care theory) so do it now.

Get more info and advice here (and please do it!):

These idiots feed on reaction.......go on (for example) IMDB and there's always going to be one poster who will be on a message board for any given film saying 'This is the worst film of all time' etc etc.

Not that they've ever watched the film of course but these people have nothing better to do than to light the blue touch paper, sit back and watch the fireworks caused by their post.

With MSM its different because you've been personally targeted but the intent is the same, the insulting message was to upset you and to get you to react.

As Paul, corky and colcol advise, its best not to respond and just ignore the messages and if they persist (which they shouldn't do if you've blocked him),report them.

Thanks. I was just in a mood, and my dad wasn't here, but it's ok now.
