Me too (two?)

I had no idea what it was so I looked it up on the internet. It seems there is a vast array of possible recipes but I went for a potato, bacon, onion and cheese mixture with a chicken stock sauce and made double quantities only because my pie dishes are small. It was very nice but I think it needs some fine tuning to make it more like the ones in the photos that real chefs achieve.

Good man !!! ;-)

Nice to see...

Indeed, the basic recipe for "tartiflette" are potatoes, bacon, onions and the famous French cheese "Reblochon".

I cook all the bacon and onions.
The potatoes are cooked, cut into slices (sometimes they are roasted).
When all the ingredients are put in the dish, I add a little cream and cheese ( much :-) )
There are also people who add white wine and garlic.

Regarding the cheese "Reblochon" it is expensive, so I take another cheese for the "raclette".

But I think we adapt the recipe to our taste ;-)

1. Take the picture
2. Load it on your laptop
3. Open it using MS Paint
4. Edit it down to 25% the original size (using the "resize" option)
5. Save it
6. Load onto Photobucket
7. Link it here using the Img option above

Don't worry. Size is not important, so I am told ...
