Live recording (1983) with early Junk Culture songs

Postby abc123 » Mon Dec 12, 2016 8:35 pm

I'm unsure if this have been posted before, but I found "OMD live Hacienda Manchester 9th of September 1983" on Soundcloud. ... -sept-1983

It is poor sound quality, but it is quite interesting since it contains some Junk Culture tracks in their early developments.

Junk Culture (with some Fairlight improvisations)
Heaven Is (like the JC deluxe version, but shorter)
The Misunderstanding
All Wrapped Up (in the style of Wrappup, but some alter lyrics and higher pitched synth)
Never Turn Away (Dazzle Ships stylish arrangement with prominent Mellotron)
Bunker Soldiers (cut in the end)
She's Leaving
Maid of Orleans
The Avenue (darker piano)
Tesla Girls (different intro, instrumental break in the middle)
Enola Gay
Julias Song (partial)
I'm dancing like a windmill
In my own world, that's how i feel
And it goes round and round, round and round and around.
