Unfortunately, the Floral is due to close very soon for renovations. As far as I know, the Telegraph will remain open. :)

Can you blame me, I have no idea what you look like, you could have no teeth, three green hairs sprouting from your head and severe dog breath, until I see/smell you, I reserve the right to be particular! LOL!

So does that mean I have to have no teeth, three green hairs sprouting from your head and severe dog breath or does it I mean I must not have them?

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on the London South Bank..wonderful architecture, very atmospheric and there's even a standing area in front of the stage too

I had the good fortune to get to a good potential warm-up venue last night: the Limelight in Crewe which holds about 400 (may actually be a bit small!) and has live music all the time.

It was a fantastic night, the band I went for was Monument, the official Ultravox tribute band. They're endorsed by the former members of Ultravox, and John Foxx is one of their MySpace friends (along with Midge, Ultravox, Visage Mk2 and Howard Jones). The set was incredible; 90 minutes of real nostalgia performed just like it was by Ultravox 20-odd years ago (using vintage synths for the authentic sound!)

hey ... that's a great photo of the monument guys in crewe last sunday ! :D

seems that they - & their audience too , of course ;) - had some fun , playing all the good ol' u-vox classics - yeah ! :)

cheers to all , who were there & especially to the band members ( from left to right ) , davy b. , mike l. , tommy & don ! 8)

those guys are really TOP NOTCH ... & would also do a pretty good job as a support band for o.m.d. - imho ! ;)

albeit i haven't been there myself so far , i've only heard good things about the limelight venue in crewe ! 8)

the Limelight is a great venue. Have seen a few gigs there, mostly original punk groups.
