Thanks to all the guys from the OMD forum for helping contribute to a fantastic debut Electronically Yours show at Hoxton last night. For those that didn't make it, the venue was packed, with storming sets from Schmoof and Marsheaux (who the crowd absolutely loved) + a great mixture of electro from Matt and A-Dam. My EMP DJ set was:

First thoughts:- an amazing night. Super to meet up and see each other again.

Schmoof & (especially) Marsheaux on top form. Great sets from the dj's, brilliant to hear club music that you actually like! All topped off by meeting Marianthi & Sophie, even more beautiful in the flesh.

Total respect to Rob (Orac) for the organisation and George/Nik from UNDO records, what great guys!

A very entertaining evening indeed - including stirling sets from the resident DJs. That Messages remix was cracking EMP

Schmoof took ages to come on stage - although as they were being downloaded via a ZX Spectrum this was understandable. A very sexy performance with added use of a strap-on although Herr Messerschmitt was lamped in the head by a keyboard at one stage.

Marsheaux were fantastic. They looked fantastic and they sounded fantastic. Promise and Dream Of A Disco were the highlights for me. Let's hope we see the girls back in the UK for more dates in the future!

Great to meet up with lots of nice people too which revitalised some of the great OMD tour atmosphere earlier in the year.

BTW When will we see those Architecture & Morality boxsets on eBay?

Alex arranged it, George had 10 of them from the Athens promotion, included is a dvd showing the signing. Needless to say, me & Rob (Latex) chuffed to bits.

George kept shouting "Messerschmitt Twins" when he first saw Chi and said that if he'd known Chi was going to be there he would have bought one for Chi as well!!

So how much are these worth??? Maybe £50 ??? Obviously the bloke on the left is a bit peeved he didn't get one !!

SCHMOOF were a fantastic support act, Sarah's sexy minx persona and stage antics with her strapon made it totally entertaining. I can confirm I still have a headache from Lloyd bashing his strapon into me !!

MARSHEAUX made a fantastic live debut in the UK. Although largely static rather like a pair of glamourous club DJs, the strength of their songs and fanstastic sound meant they carried it off brilliantly and got an ernormous crowd reaction. There was a lot of bopping about at the front! Let's hope we see them again very soon
