Atomic Kitten's debut single made an impressive impact on the charts.
Right Now managed to sell 30,000 singles in its first
week alone and managed a No. 10 position in the charts. Not bad when you consider
it was battling out with more well established acts during a traditionally busy
Christmas period.
Andy is currently very, very busy finishing off the Atomic Kitten album which
is due for release in the New Year. Meanwhile, the girls themselves are keeping
active. They fly to Japan today and won't be back in the UK until midnight on
Christmas Eve - effectively arriving home on Christmas Day.

Atomic Kitten's debut single Right Now
is released on Monday 25th November. Such is the confidence on the part of record
label Innocent that they're shipping an initial batch of 80,000 copies(!).
The girls are also going to be doing more TV over the coming week with a performance
on CD:UK and the Children In
Need event penciled in.

Atomic Kitten's single has been playlisted
by Radio 1. The promo CD has also managed to make an impression, getting a No.
15 placing in the Music Week dance chart.
As previously reported, the girls will be on The Big
Breakfast all next week. They'll also be on Dutch TV in December and will
be back in Japan before Christmas.

Atomic Kitten have been getting lots of local radio play for Right
Now. The single will also be released in most European territories before
Christmas.
The Kittens, fresh from their successful run on TV show This Morning, are now
preparing for a similar 6 day run on The Big Breakfast
- the UK's most popular early morning TV show.
The girls will also (finally) be appearing on Live &
Kicking on Saturday 20th November. Apparently there was some concern previously
about the saucy lyrics for Right Now so the Kittens had to pull out of the show.
The good news is that they'll now be performing another song - See Ya - instead.
Atomic Kitten will also be turning on the Christmas lights in Chester,
Edinburgh and Liverpool (no jokes about "being
turned on" please...) Miaow!

| 21st October 1999 |
 |
Atomic Kitten will be appearing on
TV in the UK every day next week on 'This Morning'.
The girls will be running a video diary every morning and will be performing in
the studio on Friday at the end of the week. Meeow!
There are two 12" mixes for the single Right Now
: K Class have produced what Andy describes as a "groovy lounge" mix
and there's also a mix by Solomon (who used to produce material as New Atlantic).
Meanwhile, the video for the single has been inundated with requests on cable/satellite
video show The Box.
Keeping up the band's good fortune, EMI Japan announced that they would be
making the Kittens their priority for the New Year.

| 14th October 1999 |
 |
The Atomic Kitten single is set for
release on 29.11.99 and the song of choice is Right Now.
The mix is a bit of a hybrid as it features the instrumentals mixed by Absolute
(responsible for mixing the likes of Spice Girls and Geri Halliwell) and the original
vocals taken directly from the demo.
The promo video is completed and will be available on the satellite/cable video
show The Box from this Saturday. The video is on
their 'A' List which guarantees it gets played 12 times a day and that's before
any requests by viewers. Interested parties that might want to request the song
may like to know that the song is No. 567 on The Box request list.
The Box staff apparently on record as saying that Atomic Kitten are best band
they've seen in ages and that the song is a definite No. 1....
Atomic Kitten have also finished interviews for Smash Hits and a 2 page article
for The Daily Mirror. They also appear in a November issue of TV Hits magazine.
The band will be appearing on The Big Breakfast (Channel 4) on 19.11.99 and
Live And Kicking (BBC1) on 20.11.99.Andy, Stuart and the band are busy recording
the debut album with engineer Peter Craigy. The album is yet to be titled and
is due for a March 2000 release in Japan first.
The Atomic Kitten
website will also be updated to coincide with all the current activity.
