A gathering of OMD fans was held in Liverpool last weekend and the people who managed to make it had an entertaining time in the pubs and bars of Liverpool - including the bar that is now in the club formerly known as Eric's - as well as finally putting faces to names for some of the OMD Forum regulars. For Neil Taylor's pictures and details of what happened, visit the following website: www.neiltaylor.co.uk/omd_fan_gathering.htm . You can also pop by the OMD Forum for people's comments on the weekend.

A Spanish mobile phone company has arranged to use Walking On The Milky Way for a forthcoming series of TV ads.

Congratulations to Atomic Kitten on their live performance in London last night. The girls were engaging and energetic for the whole set which featured all the hits: Whole Again, I Want Your Love, See Ya and, of course, Eternal Flame. During the show, Jenny had some slight problems with a rather too revealing top, so had to change it rather rapidly ;-). The girls were also joined on stage at the end by Brian from Big Brother for See Ya. The crowd (aged, it seemed, from 8 to 80) loved it all. A night of pure pop confectionery.

The Atomic Kitten album Right Now meanwhile, goes Gold and has made the top 5 in Germany. The girls are also set on conquering the US market, but are now looking to put this back to the New Year.

The Compiled website has now relaunched at www.compiled.org.uk. Features inlcude a global discography, forum, news and a competition to win a signed copy of OMD's debut single Electricity.

  2. Which ex-Kraftwerk member did Andy McCluskey collaborate with for the Elektric Music album Esperanto?
    Karl Bartos
  3. What cover version have OMD played live, but never recorded for release?
