The September issue of Record Collector features an interview with Claudia Brücken. As well as talking about Propaganda, Claudia also mentions her work with Paul Humphreys and performing with Paul during his 2000 US tour.

More news on the forthcoming Architecture & Morality reissue: As well as being remastered, plans for the album include additional tracks to be added to the CD. The release date has also changed and the mid-priced CD is now scheduled for a January 2003 release.

20th August 2002

A brief update on the Atomic Kitten situation in light of an article in The Sun newspaper yesterday. Andy just wants to make it clear not to believe everything you read in the newspapers. Some of the details in the feature were incorrect. One detail which was correct was the fact that the girl's lawyers have issued a termination notice, which Andy and Stuart are disputing.

16th August 2002

Andy and Stuart are no longer working with Atomic Kitten as of 31st July. Andy comments that this is due to "legal manoeuvres created by people other the the girls is all I can say right now".

Andy and Stuart are starting another band up - more details to follow.

Outside of that, Andy has been working with Jennifer Ellisson on her budding musical career. Jennifer appears on the UK soap opera Brookside as the character Emily.

September will see Andy concentrating on The Id EP.

Andy also adds that he will do some of his own music in 2005(!).

Atomic Kitten release their new single - a cover version of Blondie's The Tide Is High on 26th August. The new album Feels So Good follows on 9th September. The album, which was originally titled Get The Feeling, will feature The Tide Is High as well as the last hit single It's OK!.

Jim Shiltz writes with details of more updates on the Unofficial OMD Covers website: A surf guitar version of Enola Gay by The Dirt Surfers, remixes of Talking Loud and Clear and So In Love by Yogi, and an original track by Elektroniqa called Wrestless People. Early August will see a remix of Locomotion by Roger Erickson and a remix of Telegraph by Yogi.

Apologies for anyone who wondered where the OMD Website disappeared to recently. We had some technical problems with the domain name due to the registering body failing to update their records. The situation was dealt with, but unfortunately it took some time for the domain to become live again.
