The OMD B-Sides album
has officially been given the green light by Virgin and is scheduled to be released
in Spring 2001.
After lots of talk and discussion, and in light of the success of the Peel
Sessions album, Virgin are confident on the viability of another OMD release.
They will be sourcing the chosen tracks from the archives and they're also enthusiastic
at the prospect of at least one previously unreleased song appearing on the album.
We hope to get a track listing for the album very soon and will keep posting updates
on the News page as we get them.

Andy has been talking to Virgin regarding the B-sides
album and things are looking very positive. As previously mentioned, the
album will not only feature the best of the OMD b-sides, but will also feature
previously unreleased OMD songs.
Although details have still to be worked out we're looking at a possible release early next year. More details as we get them.

Good news regarding the planned OMD B-sides
album. Sales of the Peel Sessions album have
been healthy and appear to have convinced Virgin about the viability of the B-sides
album. Although we are still in the early stages, positive talks are underway
and we'll post up more news as we get it.
Andy has also re-emphasised his desire to include unreleased OMD songs on the B-sides album.

With the Peel Sessions album finally
released, we've noted that a lot of people have been asking about the proposed
B-sides Album. At this precise moment in time there
is no definite news. The idea is still being discussed and considered, however,
and as soon as any new information becomes available we'll post it up here.
In the meantime, people who are new to this website can choose our B-sides
Album news archive from the menu on the left which charts the progress
of the project to date.
