OMD have recorded a version of Whole Again for inclusion on the 56 Number Ones charity LP due for release in February 2008 a part of Liverpool's European Capital celebrations. The original song was co-written by Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw for Atomic Kitten.

The band is also hoping to be part of the Concert in the New Arena on January 19th where a wide variety of artists will perform the 56 number 1's. More information is available here: www.thenumberoneproject.org

Their participation depends on Toni McCluskey's state of health. (Andy says many thanks to all those who continue to pass on their best wishes. Toni has had successful surgery and begins chemotherapy this week)

At the moment the format of the show is still being discussed. The plan is to have each act play their number one cover - and also one of their own biggest hits. Therefore, it seems unlikely that all 56 number ones will be performed.
