Some OMD fans are organising a gathering scheduled to take place 15th May 2010 in Birmingham here in the UK.

The plan is for an in-house gathering at the Encore Birmingham hotel or possibly a visit to a local nightclub.

If anyone is interested in attending they can contact Stephanie or Neal (aka OMDinHOLLAND) via the OMD Forum.

A recording of Kraftwerk classic Neon Lights taken at the Glasgow SECC concert is now available courtesy of http://concert-online.com/ (who recorded the Simple Minds segment of the recent tour for issue on USB sticks directly after each concert). Access it on the OMD Music page.

The Electricity: OMD with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra DVD is featured in a press association article flagging up the release.

OMD fans are encouraged to purchase the DVD from chart return retailers such as HMV and Play to ensure that the DVD maintains a high chart position.

The Liverpool Daily Post covers the launch of the Electricity: OMD with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra DVD.

The DVD was released on Monday with a special screening at FACT and the attendence of Andy McCluskey and Hambi Haralambous.

The DVD is the second highest entry in the midweek Music DVD chart at no 23.

There have been some issues with making the RLPO DVD available for sale during the tour. Apparently these issues have been dealt with and the DVD will be available for sale at London onwards.
