Mal Holmes has kindly provided us with a brief sample of the vocal talents of Jo Mooney. No Love & Lies captures a contemplative, soulful vibe which recalls singers such as Norah Jones. The song was originally conceived by both Mal and Dean Johnson about 18 months ago, but was shelved until they started working with Jo Mooney. The track features Mally on drums, Dean on guitar and Graeme (Wet Wet Wet) Clark on bass.

Mally adds that they have 5 completed songs working with Jo with a view to potentially releasing an album on a record label or a self-release via the internet. A follow-up album to Dean Johnson's Loser Friendly is also in the works.
