Atomic Kitten are to split according to a news item on the Official Atomic Kitten Website.

The split follows Natasha Hamilton's decision to leave the band to spend more time with her son. The girls will shortly embark on a stadium tour and plans for a Greatest Hits album to coincide at the end of March are already underway.

Atomic Kitten were originally conceived by Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw back in 1997 and achieved fame with their first No. 1 single Whole Again and No. 1 album Right Now in 2001.

A 1984 interview with Peter Saville is up on the Crepuscule and Factory Pages. Thanks to Ick for flagging this up.

A CD compilation of mix tracks called Music Factory 211 features a special section on OMD mixing 7 OMD songs including Souvenir, Maid Of Orleans, Pandora's Box and Enola Gay. More info via www.djsuperstore.co.uk. Thanks to DJ Raggy for the link.
