A reunited OMD featuring Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Mal Holmes and Martin Cooper performed Enola Gay live for the French TV show Taratata yesterday. The band also did an interview and Andy was surprised that they received such a positive reaction from the TV audience.

Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys are doing a series of interviews next week for some Scottish Papers, Merseyside press and also Word magazine.

The forthcoming Hamburg concert has sold out and the promoter has suggested moving to a bigger venue, but the suggestion was for an outdoor venue and Andy feels this will affect the projections that form part of the show. Any local German fans are invited to suggest alternative larger venues!

The plans for OMD to do a series of small warm-up concerts is still on schedule. These would take place at the start of May and are planned to be invite-only with tickets made available via the OMD website. More news to follow.

A planned promo photo shoot is also scheduled ahead of the forthcoming Architecture & Morality tour. The photo shoot will take place at Connah’s Quay power station - a location also used for the OMD/Peter Saville Energy Suite installation project.

Happy New Year to all OMD fans! 2007 will see the long-awaited OMD reunion concerts as they perform their classic album Architecture & Morality in May.

OMD will also be recording a live appearance on the French TV show Taratata in Paris on 11th January performing Enola Gay and Souvenir. This will also feature all four members of the band performing.

On Monday 30th April 2007 Virgin/EMI will release a special deluxe double pack CD and DVD of a digitally re-mastered Architecture and Morality plus a live DVD of OMD performing at Drury Lane Theatre in 1981.

OMD are also collaborating with designer Peter Saville for an installation work entitled The Energy Suite. The work combines visuals from five power stations around the UK complete with brand new music from OMD. The work is scheduled to be premiered at FACT in Liverpool in March 2008 as part of the Capital of Culture celebrations.

OMD are also currently working with The London Philharmonic Orchestra for a unique tour in Autumn 2008. The series of concerts that will tour both Europe and the USA will see the LPO playing The Energy Suite from the OMD/Peter Savile Installation with giant screens carrying projections of the power station images as well as the band and Orchestra interpreting many of OMD's classic back catalogue songs.

Three festival dates for OMD for Summer 2007 are also confirmed - dates to be announced later this year.

Meanwhile, here on the OMD Website we have some updates and some new additions in the pipeline. Firstly, here on the news page we have a new poll asking for your opinions on the German Night Of The Proms shows last December.

Then we have a new OMD Survey asking which other OMD album you'd like to see receive the CD/DVD doublepack treatment.

The Promo Gallery section has been updated with two new items: The OMD Remixes and the Architecture And Morality 2007 poster.
