The Radio Waves 03 event has been cancelled. Organiser Pat Fetty has issued a statement as follows:

"It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that Radio Waves 03 has been officially cancelled.

Those of you who have purchased tickets via PayPal will have your funds refunded back to you (minus the 1 quid shipping charge) via PayPal in the next couple of days.

Many of you may ask why we have decided to cancel the event. Truth be told, ticket sales were not what as good as we had hoped, and we didn't see things taking a major upside to make the event profitable and beneficial to Marie Curie.

There has been a lot of time and effort put into this event by many people, including the bands that were scheduled to perform. I'd like to thank them, and everyone else who has assisted for their help."

Although the event has been cancelled, Jim Shiltz of the Unofficial OMD Covers website, who is currently in the process of producing the We Love You tribute CD, has suggested a Radio Waves CD. This would showcase 3-5 tracks from the bands that were scheduled to appear at the event.
