OMD will feature on a new DVD being released this Autumn. Volume 2 of The Old Grey Whistle Test follows on from the successful first volume and will include OMD performing Dancing on the classic TV music show. Other bands featured on the compilation include Roxy Music, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Undertones and Pet Shop Boys.
OMD's performance marked their first TV appearance in which they also performed Messages as part of a 2 song set. The performance also features both Dave Hughes and Mal Holmes and the set incorporates the Peter Saville-designed tour displays.
An update on what Mal Holmes has been working on recently: As well as working on engineering and mixing Dean Johnson's second album Soul Mate, Mally will also be playing drums on three songs on the album. The album is due for release later this year. Mally may also be playing as part of a 3-piece line-up with Dean Johnston when he opens for a series of Level 42 live shows later in the year.
