The forthcoming Radio Waves event now
has a venue and will be taking place on Saturday, August 30th at 7:00pm at The
Picket in Liverpool.
The concert is a fan-organised event that will feature 4 bands coming from
all around the world to play their favorite OMD tunes from the last 25 years.
The concert itself is being sponsored by Cheaky.com
with all proceeds generated by this event to be donated to Marie
Curie Cancer Care.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is dedicated to the care
of people affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life, through
its caring services, cancer research and education.

The
digitally remastered and reissued versions of Orchestral
Manoeuvres In The Dark, Organisation and Architecture
& Morality are due for release on Monday 10th
March. As previously reported, these reissues also feature additional tracks,
photos, sleeve notes and restored artwork.
You can now order copies of these albums directly from the OMD Website via the Merchandise Section. As a bonus, initial copies of the albums will be signed by Andy McCluskey.

The Unnofficial
OMD Covers website has started taking pre-orders for their album We
Love You - A Fan Tribute to OMD which features 17 cover versions of classic OMD songs.
The price is $10 US and the expected release
date is April 1st 2003.

that they have signed a record deal. The Canadian band have signed up with UK
label Hand Held Halo Productions as their press release
