Dazzle Ships appears to have come in for some critical praise in light of the recent reissue. The April issue of Record Collector has awarded Dazzle Ships 5/5. Dazzle Ships also managed to be Reissue of the Week in the Sunday Times Culture magazine.
The album was also featured in an article by Bob Stanley for The Guardian which looked at the reapprasial of 80's albums in a modern context.
Other press features are scheduled including Wound, Mix Mag and Bass Guitar.
Meanwhile, Dazzle Ships has also proven to be quite successful judging by the orders received via the OMD Website. Please note that this has resulted in a backlog of orders and some delays may be experienced while we process the orders.
Please also note that the copies of Dazzle Ships which were signed by Andy McCluskey were set aside for the first initial orders only and were strictly limited. These have now been exhausted. The remaining stock of the Dazzle Ships themed Discography booklets have likewise been exhausted.

Following on from the reissue of Dazzle Ships, the OMD Website presents a special feature: Written In Sand - A Dazzle Ships Retrospective. This microsite features an interview with Andy McCluskey, Gallery, 1983 concert review, press reviews, the promo videos for Genetic Engineering and Telegraph plus much more.
We also have a new OMD Survey asking Which is your favourite bonus track from the reissue of Dazzle Ships?

The remastered version of OMD's 1983 album Dazzle Ships was released today. The new release features remastered tracks, bonus tracks and sleeve notes along with new sleeve art which recreates the original 1983 vinyl sleeve.
Amongst the bonus tracks are a 1981 version of Telegraph (recorded during the Architecture And Morality sessions), the full-length version of 66 And Fading and Swiss Radio International which was dropped from the original album release.
Copies of the new Dazzle Ships CD are available for sale via the OMD Merchandise site.
An additional concert has been added to the Night Of The Proms schedule for the 18th April in Charleroi, Belgium. OMD will be appearing at this extra date.
