Mal Holmes has made The Listening Pool album Still Life available for download via the Fin Music website. Oil For The Lamps Of China (the single that preceded the album) is also available as a free download for the time being.

The Listening Pool was a post-OMD band formed by Paul Humphreys, Mal Holmes and Martin Cooper following the break-up of OMD around 1988. The band's sound featured a blend of electronics and acoustic instruments which resulted in a collection of often evocative songs.

All 16 tracks are now available for download via the Fin Music website and will also be available via iTunes and eMusic in due course. Click here for ordering details: The Listening Pool.

Paul, Martin and Mal are also hoping to make some unreleased Listening Pool material available in the near future.
