Get ready for yet another update of the OMD
Discography as it goes to Version 4.
This will be a much more extensive upgrade and will feature the addition
of two brand new sections. The splash page is also being redesigned
along with some of the section navigation. More details soon.
A new OMD fansite based in Germany is now online. Frank Braun is responsible for this new site which features a biography, discography, media section and links.

Andy McCluskey
has been interviewed by The Guardian
newspaper regarding the forthcoming 80's revival Here
And Now Tour and his involvement with Atomic Kitten. The feature
is similar to one the Newspaper ran a few months back and you can

Meanwhile, The Atomic Kitten website has won an award at the UK Online Music Awards. The Kittens site won in the category of Best Pop Artist Online. They were also runners-up in the Artist Of The Year category (which was won by Gorillaz). |

The December issue of Future
Music features an interview with Andy
McCluskey as part of an 80's special issue. As well as Andy,
the magazine features interviews with
Richard H Kirk (Cabaret Voltaire), John Foxx, Phil
Oakey (Human League) and Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran). There's also a feature on 80's electronic equipment and a tutorial
on how to recreate 80's sounds. |

has experienced some technical difficulties recently. Apologies to
all those who tried to post over the past day or so.
The good news is that the
Forum is now back up and running again so feel free to carry

Pat Fetty writes to say he's updated his World Of OMD website with the sheet music for Talking Loud and Clear, Tesla Girls and Locomotion. More sheet music is also on the way.

A cover version of If You Leave is
to feature in a new teen movie parody called Not
Another Teen Movie. If You Leave is being covered by the
band Good Charlotte for the film which also features Marilyn
Manson covering Soft Cell's Tainted
Love. The soundtrack for the film is due for release on December
4th. Thanks to Roger Erickson for this

Andy McCluskey has been involved in a few interviews recently, including one with the Liverpool Post on the subject of the Eric's Club scene and also for the Official Beatles Website where they asked him what his favourite Beatles track was (Thank You Girl was the answer). Andy had also been due to take part in a feature for She magazine in the UK on his favourite singles for the January issue. Although the deadline passed on this issue, they'd still like to do a feature on him in the near future.
Meanwhile, Atomic Kitten have been nominated in the Best Pop Act in the forthcoming MTV Awards. The girls will also be presenting an award themselves during the event.

The OMD Covers website gets an update: Jim Shiltz writes to say that Roger Kimber has contributed his extended remixes of Maid of Orleans and She's Leaving. Jim also adds: "as always, if you have recorded a cover version or your own remix of an OMD song, please contact me for details on how to get your tracks added to the site". Sara Harvey has launched a new website at www.tramtalk.com. Sara comments:"It's got some OMD bits, some Man U bits and some tram related bits as well (hence the name)". The site also has a Forum so visitors can leave a message.
