We've got some new OMD interactive items on the site - here on the news page we have a new Poll asking if you attended the original Architecture & Morality live shows back in the 1980's.

Then we have a new OMD Survey which asks Which OMD event are you looking forward to the most?

Andy McCluskey will be presenting a special electronic music show show on BBC Radio 6 next week. The show is a countdown of the top ten synth melodies/tunes as voted for by listeners of Radio 6. This is part of their week long celebration of 1981 - the year that synths broke into the charts. The show is broadcast on Thursday 30th November at 7pm. More details here: www.bbc.co.uk/6music/

Radio 6 has also selected Architecture and Morality as their album of the day for the 28th November. More details via the 6 Music website here: www.bbc.co.uk/6music/

The Nokia Night Of The Proms performances are almost with us and for those that can't attend the concerts, a CD featuring music from the shows will soon be available. The OMD contributions will be Maid Of Orleans and Sailing On The Seven Seas. The CD will be available from December 1st and more information is available here: www.sonybmg.de. Thanks to Hagen for the information. You can also view promotional photos of Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys taken for the event via the German OMD site here: www.germanmanoeuvres.com

Andy McCluskey had the opportunity recently to view the original Enola Gay aircraft, currently on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia.

While viewing the plane, Andy was struck by the size of it. In comparison to modern day commercial airliners the Enola Gay is relatively small.

On update on the forthcoming Nokia Night Of The Proms performances: The concerts will feature an OMD medley consisting of Souvenir, If You Leave, (Forever) Live & Die and Walking On The Milky Way.
