Andy McCluskey will be presenting a special electronic music show show on BBC Radio 6 next week. The show is a countdown of the top ten synth melodies/tunes as voted for by listeners of Radio 6. This is part of their week long celebration of 1981 - the year that synths broke into the charts. The show is broadcast on Thursday 30th November at 7pm. More details here: www.bbc.co.uk/6music/

Andy McCluskey had the opportunity recently to view the original Enola Gay aircraft, currently on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia.
While viewing the plane, Andy was struck by the size of it. In comparison
to modern day commercial airliners the Enola Gay is relatively small.
On update on
the forthcoming Nokia Night Of The Proms performances: The concerts will feature an OMD medley consisting of Souvenir, If You Leave, (Forever) Live & Die and Walking On The Milky Way. |
