More fan feedback to the OMD Documentary Souvenir has been posted up on the OMD Forum and also via the many emails that producer Rob Finighan has received. Some OMD Fans have raised queries about the documentary, which Rob has in turn addressed:
Q: Why does the Documentary focus on Architecture & Morality?
"The documentary was originally planned as part of the 25th
anniversary celebrations of that album (but of course everything slipped a
year or so)"
Q: Why is there no concert footage from the tour?
"There is no concert footage because I wasn't allowed to use any
contractually"
Q: Why is there not more material from the archives?
"It was so expensive to use the stuff that I did that sourcing any more would have just put the price of the DVD
up"
Rob also adds that they are making better progress on shipping orders for the DVDs out. A large batch of UK orders has gone out earlier in the week and more European and World orders have started to go out as well. Rob adds: "By next week we should be shipping orders as they arrive".
Meanwhile, Si Wooldridge has posted a review of the DVD on the DVD Reviewer website. You can read the review here.

The long-awaited reissue of Dazzle Ships is back on schedule with a planned Spring 2008 release date.
The re-release of OMD's 1983 album will be remastered and feature sleeve notes and additional tracks. Likely candidates for the bonus tracks include Swiss Radio International and an early version of Telegraph culled from the Architecture & Morality sessions at The Manor.

An update from producer Rob Finighan on the Souvenir OMD Documentary DVD: Rob has asked us to advise people who have ordered the DVD that it will probably take a few weeks for them to clear the backlog of orders. Also, the UK orders are being shipped first while international orders may take longer. The orders are also being sent out by Recorded Delivery which may also slow down the delivery process.

The delays that have affected the distribution of the OMD Documentary appear to have been resolved. Those people that have ordered copies of the DVD should be receiving them in due course.

The OMD Documentary DVD has been delayed due to a legal issue. Producer Rob Finighan has issued a statement explaining the situation:
"Unfortunately the dvd has not yet been sent out because I have encountered a last minute legal issue with regard to a very small sequence of pictures in the documentary, which we had previously believed to be fully cleared for use.
I have been working all week to get this resolved and I am confident that it will be cleared up some time next week and I can begin sending out the dvds.
In the unlikely event that I can’t resolve the issue by next Friday 16th November I will be refunding everyone’s money via PayPal from that date."
Meanwhile Andy McCluskey echoes the frustration of fans waiting for the DVD:
"This Documentary DVD is proving to be a classic... "anything worth doing.. is a pain in the backside".
As Rob has stated in the email he sent out.. there is last minute discussion about legal issues concerning a small section of the film.
I know it's very frustrating, but we have to be certain that this problem (which was flagged up only a few days ago) is properly resolved. We are working as fast as we can but we are waiting for others to reply..
Hang in there... It's still a great documentary."
OneTwo have been offered a support slot on the forthcoming Human League tour in November/December. Paul Humphreys writes: "The news is that The Human League have asked Onetwo to be their Special Guests on their up and coming Dare tour. They asked us a while ago but we couldn’t make it work as we have other headline gigs planned for this period, however they really wanted us so we decided we shouldn’t miss such a great opportunity to play to a large audience which is essentially our target audience as well.
This does mean that some of the planned OneTwo German shows have had to be cancelled, although only the ones that conflict with the League dates. The dates that have been cancelled are: 30.11 – Berlin – Magnet, 05.12 - Frankfurt – Nachtleben, 07.12 - Hannover – Capital, 08.12 - Braunschweig – Meier Music Hall, 09.12 - Hamburg – Markthalle. OneTwo apology to their fans for this but add that a rescheduled German tour for 2008 is in the works.
