The subject of the Unreleased Material Album has been raised in various emails and on the OMD Forum. Perhaps the most intriguing rumours were the ones suggesting the whole idea was an elaborate hoax, especially as the first News page item was posted on April 1st(!). In fact, the album has been put back to next year, especially as The Id EP is running late due to technical problems in polishing up the original recordings.

Following on from the release of the OMD Peel Sessions album and the forthcoming B-Sides album, a new project is now under way. The as-yet untitled Unreleased Material Album will feature a collection of previously unheard songs.
